I have another black moonroof console that I am prepping to do the contour switch mod on. Had to epoxy the brackets back on. The old switch in the one I am prepping, pretty much just popped out.

I think that's one of the first mod's you did on the red one. :) Man that was a long time ago. Never would have imagined the bug would have bitten you this bad.

After this blue one is done, you really have the parts to build another you know. Maybe you could sell someone a custom ordered rebuilt SHO. :woo-hoo:

You and I did this on my red 95. Then I just moved that mocha moonroof console to my red 94.

I don't think I am going to do that. Too little time to get my own projects finished.

Got to working on the other black moonroof console on the bench, noticed it was stained with I don't know what, would not come clean. Got to looking at the other console the one in the car, pushed the stock switch up once, and just like nothing, it broke. This console is a lot cleaner than the other one. Going to do the "contour switch" mod on this console instead.

Nice! Looks awesome :omgsho:

I remember swapping my mocha to black in my '95 about 8 or 9 years ago. I can't believe it's been that long . Me and a buddy did it over a weekend with a complete donor '93, except the dash, which I still have yet to do :bonk:.

duplicolor vinyl paint does a good job of covering up "I don't know what" and since black is black, it should look good. (I painted a mocha console piece gray for my 92 and its as close a match as the other old faded parts are.)

The duplicolor paint is a little "flat" but it's not bad. I'm going to try SEM Landau Black, which is what most Mustang guys use for a factory match.

The moonroof console that Paul and I put in the car, now has a contour switch for the moonroof switch. I love it, works good. ;) Should have the rest of the interior in the car this weekend.
