We start with the Moonlight blue/mocha 94 I picked up from Toolman on Labor Day weekend:

Old worn out, dirty mocha

Dash is out on the bench waiting for wire transfer

New dash, just upside down on the bench :)

Jayro and I got the new dash in:

Assembled, and the car started the first time, no issue

Interior 90% in and assembled, thanks to the help of Paul (dohcsable), without his help it wouldn't have got this far yesterday.

Old mocha headliner recovered in black, looks even better in person, the material is thicker than the original material, super quality work, all for $100. Timbo and Paul helped me put it up.

Installed a Jose SHOrty in here, along with a new Clarion double din. Couldn't find any black 93 MTX console pieces, so I made my own. ;) Even scored a NOS shift **** from SV&HoDan.

Rear part of the interior is still out, going to try to get the top of the Koni on the pass side rear, to get something welded to the adjustment tab, as the tab is broken almost flush. Then, the rest of the parts will go in.

All speakers were replaced with Kenwood Excelon's. 6 1/2's up front, and the 6x8's in the rear. The pic didn't load from my phone, but the door speakers that were installed, were 3.5 or 4" pioneer's held in with foam and tape. I have no idea, how anyone thought that was the right way to do something. Pre-wired the car for a future sound system, ran 4 gauge power wire, and 3 pairs of RCA's to the trunk. :naughty:

Also ordered and installed all new Ford door clips for all door panels. As almost all of the previous ones were completely shot when I started disassembling.

VAPS module and wiring were removed also prior to the dash going back in, and the throttle cable to replace the one that was sticking.

Many thanks to:
Toolman: Included all black trim, carpet, floor mats, seatbelts, rear tray in purchase of car
trainguy1989: went down to Tim's to pick up all of the black trim and brought it to the St Louis bbq
1MadSHO91: Purchased Dash, front and rear seats, trim pieces for headliner
SV&HoDan: Purchased NOS shift ****, throttle cable
Alderich2588: driver side vent
Bubba: helped me take out the mocha dash
Jayro: helped to put the new dash in
dohcsable, Timbo: helped put the headliner up
dohcsable: helped me put the rest of the interior in

Thank you everyone!

amazing how many hands it took to get all of this done.

The gray insulation is stock, at least on a Gen 2. I'm also missing the spring cover, lol. I never noticed them, until they're gone...

I thought something didn't look right. I'll have to source one of those. If you also noticed the a-pillar trim was missing too. Sitting on the bench waiting for the 2 part epoxy to dry before mounting them.

I just noticed: You are missing the spring cover on your drivers seat.

I never understood why they dropped the black interior. I think the black looks good with just about every color. And although his mocha interior was pretty worn out, a good clean mocha interior can look very good. Anyhow it looks fantastic!

Maybe, This was my dads car before. I don't get how the paint/body was in pretty good shape but the interior managed to be so ...meh.

I have another black moonroof console that I am prepping to do the contour switch mod on. Had to epoxy the brackets back on. The old switch in the one I am prepping, pretty much just popped out.

You should do the sunroof switch while youre at it.

Looks good!

better than my 95 faired.....how the paint and interior can be very good and cared for, yet no one replaced window seals, so it ate the rockers. :nut:
