Made some more progress.
Installed the steering column, gauge cluster (with 40K less KM:angelnot:) and EATC.

So far, so good. The car started up with no issues.

Still trying to figure out the random plug. Maybe its nothing.

Is there a way to straighten the bars on the vents? For some reason, the buckets and the vents were warped. I used the buckets from my Mocha trim piece and installed the black vents into it. These are the middle vents if it matters.

I have spent a few hours here and there buttoning up the car. I had a small issue where the automatic headlights were not working. I had a mystery connector behind the auto dim module that didn't have a home. I didn't feel like climbing under the dash so I called it a day. The next day I poked around the harness and found the other end, plugged it in and the auto headlights worked.

I ran into a small issue with the upper B Pillar trim. The Black interior came from a 93, my car is a 95. Who knew the upper seat belt location is different? I had to paint my mocha units.

I also had to paint my Mocha lower section of the center console. the previous owner of the black interior hacked in some speakers.

Before pic of console (After in a few days. I ran out of paint)

I started to paint my grey upper ATX console and the paint is bubbling is some places.
It seems that the grey interior pieces have a rubber coating.

I think I may have to sand it down to fix the issue.

Would sand blasting be to aggressive? Maybe a little bit less time consuming.

I thought about that but my blast cabinet is too strong.

I scraped the offending area, then sanded, then cleaned, the dusted the paint on, so far it seems to be working.

All of the console tops have a rubber coating. I've stripped it off using brake fluid before...

I took a mixture of pine sol and old english in a warm water tank to strip the coating, it didn't strip it as much as soften it enough to be removed by a toothbrush. But the end result turned out good for painting.

Spent some quality time with my fog lights today. Any tips on removing the lenses to restore the inside?
