hi guys my i have a 2013 PP with 142k miles and ill hit 150 by January other than the fluids what are some parts yall recommend to get to start preventative maintenance i just ordered a catch can but was wondering theres anything else

I would consider timing set and water pump but that is a bigger than average tackle at home. Water pump is one to get in front of but to get at it might as well get the other stuff done if feasible.

thank you for your reply ive been dreading this project but i guess its better to get it before it breaks

Agree and you have to keep an eye on the turbos if they are original. They are a wear part. They spin mighty fast. Around 150k alot of maintenance pops up. Make sure the PTU fluid gets changed. Prevention vs replacement. Hopefully you can save on labor and try DIY

I just had my water pump replaced on my 2015 non-pp. It started to leak and the temperature guage was all over the place. My car has 135,500 miles on it.

The lucky part is if it leaks outside the engine. The risk is--since it is an internally mounted water pump--that it has a risk to leak coolant inside the engine. That can damage bearings which can cause all manner of damage if you don't catch it early.
