I'm still waiting on my PPE down pipes. Apparently they have material problems. They asked for 12 weeks delivery time and we're now at week 13. LOL. Their usual order ahead time, non-covid times, is 6 to 8 weeks Has anyone else had long Waits with them delivering the goods?
I'm kind of wondering if I'm going to have them for my Dyno runs.

I ordered mine back in the first week of May from jmautosports.com and didn't get them until the beginning of this week. I emailed them about a week before they showed up and said they're going to contact PPE on expected shipment date, and before I could even get an email back they were on my doorstep the following week with no notice of any kind. Kind of caught me off guard since I was waiting for so long.

I ordered from the first weekend of May as well. Mind you I'm in Canada hopefully they haven't run into a problem at the border. If they haven't sent me the shipping information, so I can keep up on things and pay any duty or taxes that might be due, it could be holding up things.

This is not encouraging news to a guy who ordered his in June. I have an original approximate for 8-28-21 for shipment. I hope I get them in time to make it to the strip before snow flies in the northeast.

I'd definitely check in since you have the customs step to deal with. If he got his without notification then yours absolutely may be just waiting for you! Hope so buddy good luck!

I ordered mine from jmauto back in December, didn't get them until February. Almost 9 weeks. Im sure with all the other manufacturers dropping out they definitely cant keep up and material shortage doesn't make it better.

I still haven't heard anything back about my PPE downpipes. I had heard from Lee on Monday that he was going to make a phone call and get back to me right away. I emailed him back a couple days later asking if he is heard anything.
So I'm kind of sitting and waiting, while listening to crickets. I gave Ortiz a call and got an answering machine. I'll see what happens.

I heard back from lee. He hadn't contacted me because he had nothing to pass on. Lee has been working his buT off trying to get some info on my downpipes. Apparently PPE isn't getting back to him with information at all.
I really don't want to add anything else to the car at this point until I get the downpipes. I'm kind of waiting to do the MSD coils, hot pipes and maybe an intake kit. Problem is I'm already flow restricted by the early style sheet metal exhaust manifolds and downpipes.

if your going to do all of that I would do it all in one day and do the cold pipes at the same time! makes the rear S hose to the back turbo easier. as the S hose is a pain in the a s s.

I got a response back from PPE. Not sure if it means my pipes are assembled yet or not by the wording. But apparently they are going to be coated and sent out hopefully this Friday.

You beat me to it, I too just got the update that they will go out this Friday and was getting ready to email you back but then saw a notification for this post and figured I'd check in to see what was said. I'll forward tracking as soon as we have it

Very cool Lee. It's been a long road but I think I finally see our exit. LOL
