Hey guys I'm having a little trouble with getting my Pioneer to work in my SHO. I have a 94 (if it matters) and there is also a hook up for the speakers that says left rear, right rear, blah blah blah, and it connects to a big gray cable. No matter what speaker wire I hook up no sound comes out of any speaker. Any ideas?

if you have premium sound, you need an amp bypass.

the search function works wonders my friend

One more question; where is the amp located? I'm guessing its in the trunk but if thats the case then we may have a problem....lol I need to get a key made for the trunk. Someone decided to depress the locking mechanism inside the car as well so I can't use the release from inside either.

pull the plastic cover off the release levers (one phillips screw and one push pin)
reach in with a screwdriver and push the locking hook back over. (you will hear the lock pop back up)

cut down a bic pen (just the case) to about 3 inches-3.5 inches long. shove it inbetween the hook and levers. it will never lock again on you.

ive done this on two cars and have had great luck
