Easy to change. Never heard of one going bad though. Pretty simple design.

You need to take the belt off.

Loosen the hoses.

Then take off the pulley.

Then there are three bolts that hold on the bracket.

Remove bolts and take out the bracket then pump.

Good time to replace the small coolant hoses and plastic Y connector.
