I would check grounds, and investigate for an open circuit. Possibly a wire is grounding and draining your battery or something that should be off when the car is off stays on. I'm no electrical guru, but that is where I would start. Sorry I can't be of more help

Make sure your batt is at 14+ but below 15V while idle.

Fully charged but engine off , should read 12V

Also make sure you remove the glove box bulb and the trunk bulb before testing this any further.

check this - something simple

Just a shot in the dark. I think you might have a bad alternator - even though you checked it. Just TRY disconnecting the negative battery cable while the car is running.

It could be your battery is on it's way out also. Ie- holds a charge - enough to start the car but won't get enough of a charge while driving to start again after six miles. I'd check the alternator though.

I say this because you charged it - car sat overnight and had enough juice to start the car in the morning and run to work for 6 miles then wouldn't start again. Good luck.

When you go to start it, does in turn over at all? If it turns over and it won't hit, check your ground to the computer. It iis located on the passenger side by the battery and firewall. If the wires are corroded or loose , it will turn may turn over but not start. The ground is the direct ground for the computer. I had this happen this last summer. Car just croaked going down the road at 60mph. If you can start the car, jiggle the wires around under the hood and if it dies, you found it. Simple fix but man it was frustrating.
