greetings and salutations fellow SHO-boats!
I have a 2014 SHO w/PP, it has 57,000 & some change on the odo, and I have recently experienced power loss/sluggish acceleration. She's not throwing any codes. Anyone have any ideas on where to start.

Welcome! How long have you had your SHO, and how long have these symptoms been showing up? At a particular speed, any speed? What is the maintenance history on your SHO, including but not limited to, spark plugs, trans and differential fluids, oil consumption between changes, etc.? Has mpg also dropped or is it holding?

Could be worn spark plugs, a faulty wastegate, loose turbo piping, cracked piping (particularly at the clamps, & on the underside), crud buildup in the intercooler, a leaky PTU, etc. I do not believe it will be caused by a weak car battery, but if the battery case is leaking and has damaged something, there's that. Could also be a clooged catalytic converter in more extreme cases, usually caused by a leaky fuel injector(s).

When you say no codes, you have checked for codes stored in the PCM, or are you referring to the lack of an engine light?

Okie okie, I've had the car since march of last year. The maintenance history consists of normal routine service, oil changes fluid checks etc...we had a recall part changed, which if I remember correctly was fuel delivery related (I would have to pull my file to be certain)a few months ago. First noticed it about a two weeks ago, and I'm noticing it at all speeds, whether it be from a rolling stop, or from say 25-45, and putting the ol hammer down to rocket past a Honda. It doesn't rev as with any of its usual exuberance, and I feel no boost until it goes into 3rd, then I start to feel some asimaltion of boost, but nothing like I normally feel, like I have turbo lag. I haven't noticed a severe drop in MPG, but, I have a lead foot, and fast car, so I don't get great mileage as it is.

Possibly the fuel delivery control module (resides in the rear driverside backseat area)?

The simplest explanation would be a boost leak, so I would start with that first - check the hoses as described in my earlier post. To/from turbo and intercooler. You will have to take the engine appearance cover off to see if the reference hoses atop the manifold may have popped off, Ford does not secure all of them. There should be nothing more than a misting of oil in any of the turbo-related piping. Pooling oil could be a bad sign, as the turbos will have to be checked carefully for damage.

Next would be the blowoff valves (BOVs). Sometimes the orange seal/gasket tears and causes a boost leak. Very rarely, the noisemaker may be at fault. The noisemaker is the ugly peg leg coming off the intercooler to throttle body pipe/hose.

If the physical checks bear out, then you might have to look at electrical components - wastegate solenoid, MAP sensor(s), throttle body motor, throttle position sensor, etc. Not often these parts fail, but it happens.

But first you should check if there are codes stored in the PCM. Most codes do not trigger a check engine light. check engine lights mean a critical error has occurred. Any major auto parts store should be able to read the codes for you (free), if you do not already have a setup to monitor your SHO.

I had this same problem, popped the vacuum line back on and good to go. But now a month later back with the same problem. vacuum line is tighly secured and no other visual leaks? Any chance it could have broken the sensor it was attached to? not sure where to go from here, there is clearly a leak I just can't find it.
