Power cut off!!!

Hi ALL,
While cruising at 70kmh,suddenly my car shut down and show's shift it in park.Pull on the side of the road and shift it in park.Waited for a minute and start the car,walaaaa,no problem.Does anybody happen to them?

I recall reading a similar thread recently with this same reported thing...I'll try to track it down.

Usually the shifter needs to be replaced (SHIFT TO PARK message).

I did some brief looking again but I couldn't locate the post I was thinking of. I suppose I could be wrong and just need to go have a beer to straighten me out.

I had an 04 f150 do this a couple times. I finally had to dump it in the dealers lap. Have them pay for a rental and not get it back till they fixed it. Took em 3 days to duplicate the engine stall at 70mph.
