Hey guys had a question about the power antenna. The mast is broken but the antenna motor still works if I push the power antenna button it still goes up and down. Now can I simply replace the mast or do I need to replace everything?

The plastic shaft in the antenna whip has had its teeth stripped out by the motor. Simply purchase a new antenna mast off ebay (it'll come with a new plastic center shaft) and replace it. You'll need to take the passenger wheel and splash guard off, then it's a 7mm acorn nut in the center of the motor housing to get the shaft housing apart. Clean out all the old plastic chunks, thread new shaft into it (make sure the teeth face the right way!), bolt her back up and call it a day.

Pretty easy procedure, all in all.

Justr bought a mast off ebay for about $13-15. You can probably get one at Autozone for $20. Second one I've had to replace out of 3 SHO's. Not too tough to do.

Well that's fine, the replacement procedure is still pretty much identical. Just make sure you use a cloth or something so you don't scratch the paint while trying to get that crown nut off the chrome part where the antenna comes out.
