After having my mint white 93MTX totaled I have some ins. money to use on another SHO. I'm looking at a 93 silver MTX and because I want it to have a little personality I was thinking about having the slicers powdercoated. I was wondering how much this costs and/or if any one is looking to sell a pair they have. I probably won't do this till around Christmas or maybe as long as next summer but I'm trying to figure out how much its going to cost and base my decision on how much I'd have to shell out. Also, I was wondering if anyone has used black heat paint to paint their slicers? It seems like it would work but I don't want to ruin a perfectly good set of slicers just to find out. I loved the white slicers on my old 93 that I can't just go back to plain silver again. Any imput as always is appreciated. :thumb:

I have a set of white slicers for sale... The tires on them have decent tread, although none of them are matching, or high performance. One has a plug on the edge of the tread and sidewall, but it's holding up fine. PM me, I have an ad in the Parts Classifieds, if you need anything else.

I'm just looking at black/powdercoated slicers b/c my new sho is most likely going to be silver. I still have the set of white slicers from my totaled 93 but white on silver just wouldn't look that good. Thanks for the offer though.

Sorry, set. I don't know why I wrote "pair". I'm actually getting a black 91 plus now but am still interested in getting a set of powdercoated black slicers this summer. Scott, I visited your site but couldn't find a price for powdercoating wheels. I'm just looking for a rough estimate so I can figure out if my finances will permit me to do so. Thanks.

Well I have a set of slicers I can let go for cheap so you can them powdercoated and not have your car out of commission while you have the wheels done. They are white but should be redone. They have no tires either. If you are interested let me know.

How much did they cost to strip? This thought has crossed my mind and a $figure would be a great help. Thanks.
