Alright folks, as we all know winter is coming (for some) and that is the big mod time as most of us northerners have winter rides. The biggest gripe for most is about the JBL system that is old and to some out dated and its usually the first mod done to most cars. SO...

Post your specs on your system ... head unit type and power, speakers, subs, amp and power, any A/V stuff you have, and any future A/V mods you have planned..

I'll kick off the fun:

Dash: JVC 9500 55x4 In dash cd player
Front: Stock door sail tweeters, JBL Touring 6x8's rated at 70w.
Rear: JBL Touring 6x9's @ 70w.
Subs: 2 MTX 10" subs w/ 250w MTX amp w/ built in crossover

Wow! Cool, I just replaced my tired system, used to have a Pioneer CD, 4 Pioneer 2-ways, 2 Pioneer 12" IMPPs and a Pioneer 50x4 amp bridged for the subs, all from "cough" Walmart.
Now... new job, more money!

Dash- Pioneer DEH-P6600 CD Player (didn't change yet)
Front- Alphasonik PCT6551 3-Way Components 350 watts RMS (6.5 in door, 5.25 and tweeters in Q-Logic Kickpanels)
Rear- Alphasonik PFZ680 6x8 2-ways 180 watts RMS
Sub- 1 Earthquake Magma-12 with SLAPS in 1 foot box
Amps- Alphasonik PMA600HCA 300x2 front
- Alphasonik PMA300HCA 150x2 rear
- Alphasonik PMA800DA Class D 800x1 sub

No TVs......yet. ;)

Infinity 6.5's 350w components in the front
Infinity 6x9's 400w 3 ways in the rear
1000 watt 4 channel VR3 Amp (cheap brand but works great)

Did the whole thing for about $150 on ebay and it sounds wicked awesome. So sub yet though.

97 has stock tweeters, infiniti gold 6X9's up front, stock rears for now (until the sony xplods go in.)

Pyle amp supposively putting out 1600 watts (yeah right) and two Audiobahn 12" subs in a sealed ported box with a nifty little light.

Nothing real fancy, but it beats the blown speakers that were in the thing when I got it. For the small amount of money into it, I'm happy.

Just gotta finish dynomatting and insulating stuff! :thumb:

Here what I have in the 97 right now....Hopefully I can sell it soon and upgrade it a bit.

Dynamat Extreme and Brown Bread in the back dash, trunk floor and trunk lid.
Infinity Kappa 5X7's in the back deck, 6 1/2 Kappa componets up front. 1.0 fared cap, 4 gauge power wire, stinger distro block, planet audio amp for the mids and highs, 2 12" image dynamic subs being pushed by a ultimate 2ch amp with a custom SHO cut out install.

I like the idea of my install but I really want to replace the majority of the equipment.......well see I guess
