If people would learn to stop being so f'n lazy and do anything themselves . So many newbs post up questions without ever even trying to get answers themselves , just gets old . So if they want direct answers for free they can take a lil heat with it . This forum is here to help people most defiantly , but you gotta wanna help yourself .

And nobody should get bent out of shape becuase of what some stranger posted on the Internet .

this is getting bad people are just asking for some info on here and you got people who are being instant a$$holes to other people, no wonder a lot of people don't know and don't post because you have to be worried about being flamed.

even if it was in the wrong section

Ok, I'll sum up what happened in this thread.

"Hey, can I remove my rev limiter?"

"Yes. Why?"

"Cos I wanna REV THAT SHIT YO"

"You realize it won't do any good without lots of mods, right?"

"DUN CARE WANNA REVS LOL"

"You're a *******."

This isn't the SHO Forum & Psychiatry club. We aren't here to make you feel better, we're here to help you. And sometimes helping you means calling you a *******. Just ask Zach, who - if I'm not mistaken - called OP a *******, which is hilarious in and of its own right.

I believe you got your answer in post #8. You need a chip or a tuner (twEECer) to remove the limiter. And for future reference, don't take jabs on this forum too seriously. We're busting your balls.

PS - Can't make fun of us for owning Tauruses if you own one yourself, *******. :)

you are the punchline , ricer .

you recieved answers for everything.

Take it easy. You were new once, too.

I thought SHO forum was alot like the Military, fresh meat has to be broken down before it can be built back up! Look at Zack .

Mosh - chill out , forget the limiter, drive the car and enjoy it, or sell it or whatever.

Only when necessary. (examples: Zach and sho4life)

Not only did you immediately jump down his throat (unprovoked), you also gave him incorrect information. So in this instance, you sir fail. :swing:

What incorrect info did he give him?

To achieve anything higher than 7300rpm, you will require a chip or custom tuner to eliminate/raise the rev limiter.

If this is for your 93 , not only did you post in the wrong section but your car doesn't have a rev limiter except in neutral in auto's .

IF you are asking about a gen 4 then the only way will be with a aftermarket tuner .

So WTF are you talking about ?

newbie...the only thing that'll be accomplished by raising the rev limiter is smoking accessories and your trans. there's no valid reason in the world to raise a rev limiter on a stock SHO unless you're looking to destroy something. last i saw, stock SHOs tend to hit their peak before 7k...

You're gonna need a lot more than just a tuner to achieve anything above 7300rpm...

Excuse me? James in STL was able to pull well over 8,000rpm in 1st gear on a tired engine and 4 people in the car. And that was before the nitrous.
