Sad to say, but if you really want a paddle shift, awd, and a hyped up V-6, better look at a BMW.Just like jwfisher said, it will never happen. :shakeheadFord has ceased plans on that, the SVT team has broken up, the new Lightning replacement is a "Hurricane" that now is on a permanent hold, and another SHO may never arrive for any of us. All we can do is hope that one day it may reappear. The new Ecoboost will hit the market, but not remotely in anything we are used. The only real performance models we may one day see are the cars similar to the ones in Australia. The day is nearing too that the Mustang GT may not be powered by a V-8.Sad to say, but if you really want a paddle shift, awd, and a hyped up V-6, better look at a BMW.
the new Ecoboost wont hit the market in the us. i believe because of the diesal engine will be make it a challenge so theyre only going to be in europe. also you dont need to buy a beemer just for a paddle shift. the mazda rx-8s have them along with the charger.
Except that it'll never happen. The clowns at Motor Trend mistook the EcoBoost 6 cylinder for the EcoBoost 4. Too bad the EcoBoost 6 will not fit in the engine compartment of the Fusion (not even close). So instead we'll have an AWD 4-cylinder single turbo with 6-speed auto. No big deal to create, it's just Mazda 6 AWD underneath, with the corporate 6-cylinder and the Mazda-developed 2.5 turbo 4.
