My sho wants to stall every now and then, just randomly, it always occurs at low rpm with no load on the engine, only when coasting or coming to a stop. It always starts right up and runs fine though. It doesnt happen all the time, sometimes it will happen like 5-6 times on a 50 mile trip and sometimes I can drive it for like 300 miles without doing it. Crank sensor is brand new, so it's most likely not the problem, wondering if maybe it just needs a good cleaning of the EGR and throttle body??

Wouldn't hurt, but I'd look at the MAF being dirty or the IAC first. How about the fuel filter? These are fairly easy and more common issues than the EGR and t/b.

Mine use to do this randomly. Here's what I did to fix it.

Warm up the engine and let it idle. Turn the throttle stop screw in until it is idling around 1200 rpm or so.

Unplug the IAC and turn the screw out until the engine is running at about 400 rpm. Then turn off engine, plug in the IAC, disconnect the battery, reconnect the battery and restart the car, let it relearn idle.

After doing this it never died like that again. This is giving your IAC more headroom.

I actually just changed the fuel filter a few days ago and it hasnt shut off since then, possibly was the problem, but I will also do the idle reset as well....couldnt hurt. Thanks guys
