Porky's closing?

My cousin told me that he'd heard on one of his car forums that Porky's on University was closing.

I don't know if it's true or not, but has anyone else heard about it at all?

Wouldn't suprise me. Seems that a lot of people just show up to hang out and sit there all night, but how many of them actually buy something?

I'm gonna miss porky's if they close too.

That's a different Porky's. We went to that one a few years ago, and it sucked anyway.

Yeah, that was the one on University in Columbia Heights or Northeast.

It's the one on University in St. Paul that is in question. My cousin said it had been sold to the retirement home there so they can have more parking.

But, again I don't know if it's real or rumor.

You mean Central Ave. NE Mpls. Only St. Paul is/was on University.

Yep, seen it on the 10pm news. Woulda been nice to have more than a few days notice to go have one last burger. Some warmer weather for the last couple cruise nights woulda been good too. Most don't even have the hot rods out yet.
