Poly bushings?

Anyone know of poly bushing kits or parts for our cars? Coming up on the 100k mark and i wanna tighten it up as I replace parts that are starting to wear out. Any help appreciated, I looked a little so far but no luck.

unfortunately nothing that I've seen, but don't let that stop you Reach out to a few companies like Energy, Prothane, etc. and see if they would be interested in making a kit. Usually they have the pieces already just not compiled, and I'm sure we could get a group buy going.

I emailed Energy Suspension from their contact form on their website about this. They basically said have everyone who is interested do the same thing and contact them using that form. Just say what year SHO you have and that you are looking for poly bushings for it.
Bonus if anyone lives close in Cali and they go through with this they usually ask for a test car to borrow and make the parts from. Usually the test car gets their bushings either heavily discounted or free.

They did not unfortunately. Perhaps if a few more people contact them they will get a minimum number out there.
Ill probably call Prothane today or tomorrow and see what they say as well.

Been so sidetracked on my own project just trying to keep all the different things moving forward, haven't had much time for anything else this year.

Thank you, I don't mind doing this sort of thing at all. Worst that happens is they tell me no.
I had bushings from Energy on a previous vehicle and it made a world of difference. I would love to have them on this one.

Just confirming I did just send a (somewhat) lengthy email, along with pics of my SHO, and my contact info accordingly.

Well I didnt get a chance to call Prothane yesterday and apparently they are closed on Friday, so Ill give them a call Monday. In the mean time Ill put a thing on the facebook group about thia and hopefully more people will get on board there as well.

Thought it was odd they stated I was the 1st to contact them. I was under the impression others already had reached out to them before me. Oh well. Least they said they'll start compiling a list of interested owners.

Yeah, I had contacted them. I attached my response from them as well. Perhaps the two work in different departments and hadn't spoken yet. Hopefully we can get a minimum number from them at some point soon.

I reached out to Prothane this week. I called their office number and ended up having to leave a voicemail. Ill follow up next week if I do not hear back.

I think I might email the guy directly that emailed you back bpd1151 and see how many requests he has had and how many it would take. I posted it to a few Facebook groups and there should have been at least a few people from there that emailed them. So hopefully there is at least a chance now.

I apologize for the long time between updates here, and as a heads up it may be slow goin on my end for a bit. I had to get an emergency custody order this week so my daughter would be safe, and only with me for awhile. So that mess is going to take up a lot of my time in the near future.

Thank you, I dont want to derail this thread, but Ill say it was a very unexpected week for sure.

On topic, Prothane did call me back. It was tech support that called, but he said he would forward it all to R&D. If R&D is interested they will call me at some point. It didn't sound promising though.

@bpd1151, since this was resurrected on the other forum, I figured I'd ask. Did you ever find anything to come of this? I'm an Energy Suspension dealer and may be able to push on this some from my end if there were any ticket numbers or anything to reference.

I myself have not heard anything to date since this was last discussed, at what appears now, to have been pre-pandemic.

That said, given the fact that at least a year has passed, or more since it was discussed, I would suspect that that many more SHO's have tacked on mileage, wear -n- tear, etc. and that the need for them moving forward, would be greater now, than ever previous.

Please LMK how I can be of any help if talk(s) happen to start up once again.
