I had mine done and they looked really good. They looked very close to chrome. I had to hand polish them with Mothers about twice a summer to keep the luster. It cost me a total of $280.

$40 to blast the paint off
$200 to polish
$40 to chrome plate the center caps

I`d have to get around $75 per wheel, but the problem is you`d be looking at quite a bit to ship the wheels to me and back. The centercaps can`t be used,so they need to be replaced with Mustang ones.I`m sure SHO2NV will agree that the flash chroming on the SHO centers do not match that well.

Hey do you have any pics of the wheels on your car? They look bad *** alone, but I want to see them attached to the car to get the full effect.

Couldn't you powdercoat them chrome? Wouldn't that match the centercaps a bit better then?

Plastic centercaps + powdercoating baking process = melted pools of center cap plastic

No I didnt mean powdercoat the centercaps, I meant powdercoat the rims chrome instead of polishing them so that they match the chromed centercaps better.

The problem is that you need a completely different type of process to chrome metal and plastic. They will never match, and the plastic flash chrome doesn`t hold up well.
