I have a question about which plug wire set to get. As suggested by SDPatt, I checked out the FordPartsNetwork.com site. They list two sets for the SHO motors:

WR-4033 3.0l wire set $ 83.99
WRE-4081 3.2l wire set $ 127.99

If the WR-4033 fits the 3.2 motor, why is the WRE version so much more expensive ?

Punishment for owning an automatic.

I have the Borg Warner wires so I can't really help you too much but the two shorter wires are reroted in a way that I believe goes over the valve covers instead of through the wire looms.

That is an excellent question. The 3.2L wires may be supplied from a different source than the 3.0L wires. I have noticed the 3.0L wires have the cylinder number on each wire and have generally better fabrication quality and consistency than the 3.2L verions. Inquiring minds wnat to know.
