Yes, yet another model in the "last gas vehicle to be produced" category, a growing trend I find quite distressing. Mercedes says 2023 is the last model year for the super-sedan (with hybrids to follow). At $177,963 (AutoNation, Torrance, CA), I won't be running to the dealership to grab one anytime soon, but what a car: "[Its] V8 is pumping out 603 thundering horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque," according to Car & Driver.

However, in a superficial beauty contest, I think the SHO holds up quite well and is overall a prettier car to me. The AMG super-car just seems more bloated than sleek. For that kind of money, in addition to performance, I would want the car to look absolutely, ridiculously, amazing.

But yeah, the fast sedans from AMG, BMW, and Audi have always caught my eye, but their six-figure prices tags are just too much to stomach.
That is why I said 2020. You can pick them up for 80k to 95k right now. That is more bearable.

Agreed. But again, I live in Cali. I don't think anyone makes a CARB-certified aftermarket supercharger for the GT. The only way I'll own a supercharged Mustang is with a Shelby, for which I would either have to buy used or wait until 2025 for the promised 2026 GT500. However, a GT500 is a pipe dream—used 2022s are selling for ~$100K. Also, no Mach 1 for 2024 (replaced by the Dark Horse, which is now unobtanium).
A stock Shelby GT500 just did 182MPH on the German Autobahn. I would love to own a Lambo, any of them but I won't because I can't stand the thought of paying into the parent company (Audi).

I road in a Urus last week. I honestly wasn't that impressed with the interior quality. Parts still creaked here and there, and seemed a little too plasticy. It was fun though, and caught attention everywhere we went.

Studio460 listed four, but forgot one, so here's my five-plus. I know, way late, but here goes:

1. Porsche 911 Targa4 GTS (OK, not a Turbo S, but how could a Carrera NOT be #1? Car Guy license revoked! .. according to my Dad)
2. Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series (700 HP AMG V12? Hmm?)
3. 2023 BMW M5 Competition ... nuff said.
4. 2023 AMG E63S Estate/Wagon (How may of those've you seen; preferably ... Sedan just fine)
5. Audi S8 Plus (Love my AMGs, but could never resist this Plain Jane ... now with 600 ponies?)

*Honorable Mention:
6. Maserati Gran Tourismo (love that screaming Ferrari V8)
7. My old 2009 MB C63 AMG (6.2 AMG V8 MONSTA! Best stock exhaust note EVER! Little demon tried to delete me.)
