For those of you with '13+ cars that have upgraded to a XDI pump, what's the easiest way to change the #4 plug? Disconnect low pressure fuel line every time?

Depends if you have metal or plastic valve covers. With metal valve covers none of the plugs are of an issue and easily interchangable when you have the xdi35 installed.

Its the plastic and the low side sits right above the #4 coil. After installing it yesterday (along with my intercooler), I sat back and had a 'hmmm....' moment

Yeah, unfortunately you have to mess with the hpfp on the plastic ones. No way around it that I know of. I'll let someone else go into detail because I have no experience on that.

I broke off (by accident ) a small portion of the plastic on the coil where it overlaps and now it can go in and out with no issues. The rubber gasket still seals fine and the actual coil portion is undamaged.

I have the LMS pump and the same issue. It takes maybe an extra 3 minutes to move the pump out of the way to get the coil out. The LMS pump rotates once you disconnect the hard fuel line, not sure if the XDI does the same.
