Spindles and hubs from a 93 SLO fit on a 93 SHO?

The junk yard is telling me the splines in the hub are different. They also show a different part number for the spindles themselves.

Thanks

The JY has a set of 93 SLO spindles for $70 but he said they wont work...different splines....

Then, he told me that he has a 95 ATX SHO...he's gonna sell me the whole deal for $95...hubs/spindles/calipers/rotors.

So...I'll finally get the upgraded brake setup.

Is there anything else I need to pick up to complete the conversion?

If it were me, I would only get the knuckles from the junkyard. Then get new hubs/bearings pressed in, new/reman calipers, and new rotors.

The ones that were pulled were 95 NON ABS spindles. I pointed that out to the guy and he said "oh sh!&".

I got the spindles, calipers, rotors, and all the hardware for $85. And he's sandblasting the spindles for me.

I'm just going to run without ABS. Screw it.

yeah, who needs ABS anyway? Now, all you need for the 96+ brakes are caliper brackets from a 96+. And, obviously, the rotors. and pads. the 598 pads go with 96+ brakes, 602 pads go with 95-. I hope this makes sense!

Yes, it does....

for now, I'll be happy with the 95 pads/rotors.

What are the different rotor sizes???
pre94=10.6" ??
94/95=11" ??
96+= ???(more than one size?)

When working on the upgraded brakes, don't forget to loc-tite the slider pin bolts or they might back out and send the caliper bracket and pads into your wheel...:zoinks:

Don't ask...
