yes, Hi Kevin, the pic is the one from the car that runs only on high and won't turn off unless you disconnect the blower from this module, there's a lot of corrosion inside, I'm sure its the problem. I just today put in an eatc head that I got from fred, It works but two of the bulbs are out. I ordered a couple led lights to see if I can just put them in the sockets and have them light up, I'll try them in my other sho first, the one with all the rust. So far so good on that one. I found the coolant leak, stopped the stalling problem, replaced the hood support struts and am going to replace the busted up header panel, probably tomorrow with the one I got from a yard here. The sho that needs the BCModule is going in next week for water pump, timing belt, coil, wires and plugs, I could do the plugs and coil stuff, and in my better back days I could do the timing belt and pump too, but alas, the back and... we're supposed to get another ***@!! polar vortex and go back down to 20 or more below zero, no fun. Thanks for all your great information and sharing your knowledge. I like understanding all that stuff and history. I do think that this BCM has been replaced, the screws holding it in were different, one rusty for no apparent reason and there was a tiny piece of electrical tape on each hex screw head...why?? all I can guess is maybe to make it stick to/in the socket tighter when ya pull it out. Anyway, doesn't seem like something that they'd do from the factory, so my guess is that at some point the car got a used BCM from a yard or something...also a slightly bent corner of the ?cooling" fins that looks like it was pulled out or pushed in roughly in the past. I would expect the original module in the car to look fairly pristine, this one has dirt corrosion and maybe even grease/oil, like maybe it sat out in a junkyard for a while, or on a shelf in a salvage parts shed...
take care,
Terry
