just got my intake back together from cleaning it and new gasket set and i cant get it to fit back on the motor did i possibly reassemble it wrong? it's too tight around the fuel rail

I think that it will only go back together the same way it came apart...although I could be wrong. Keep trying, there's bound to be something simple keeping it from fitting right. If you need a working model let me know and I can drop by tomorrow to help you out.

You will need to loosen all of the hose clamps on the manifold. Only retighten them once you have the runners torqued down to the heads.

i got it on all good now thanks for the help.......but new prob. my throttle response is bad real slow. what do you think

i just went through the hole vacuum system and i cant find a leak and sprayed starting fluid around the engine compartment and no change in idle. would the o2 sensor's sho a engine light?

Yes, The 02 Senosors shows the check engine light.Mine did not come on untill after I drove for a few minutes though.
