I'm having much difficulty getting my starter out.I got the lower bolt out, it's the one behind the solenoid that is not moving. I have tried liquid wrench no help. This is a discription of the setup: There is a threaded bolt that goes into the hole behind the solenoid. There is a 13mm nut on the end of it. Then the ground was on the bolt and then there was another 13mm nut on top. I got the ground off but the nut holding the threaded bolt on is not moving. Any suggestions, please help....

I just replaced my stater last night and had a hard time getting out that bolt as well. My SHO is a 91 so the starter is different but I believe the bolts are the same. I ended up using an old torque wrench that has about a 2.5 foot long handle and the leverage made all the difference in the world. Try to find something to extend the handle of your socket wrench. There is not much room to get it in there, but like I said it did not take much to break it loose. Good luck!

that remaining nut, keep loosening it, it will come off. the remaining nut is a "one piece" item with the bolt. there is no nut/ head on the bolt behind the starter, at least with my '93 ATX....
