please help with headlights

Hi guys, my first post here: I have a 92 SHO MTX and a couple weeks ago my high beams were not working, then recently last night my low beams also failed to come on.... then i tried the high beams again and the low beams came on..?? any ideas of the what the problem may be

Try looking at the head light switch in the dash they are known to short out and melt the harness. if so goto the local wrecking yard and locate a taurus SLO OR SHO and cut a new harness and switch out and splice in to the existing wiring harness. good luck
