My car was running find last night. All of a sudden I go to start the car the next morning and all I hear is the fuel pump and like a click when I turn the key all the way. The engine does nothing at all. What could go wrong over night. I have no clue, any suggestions please let me know.

I've checked the battery it is find I still have full power to everything else in the car. Could the CPS be a problem?

If all you get is a click, the starter solenoid may be triggering, but the starter is not engaging, leaning toward possible bad starter. Could be a loose wire at the starter too.

Try getting down to the starter to unplug and replug the smaller wire on the starter soliniod (they tend to get corroded inside the connector)then see if it will crank over and start,if it does you could splice in a new connector or try and clean the old one out.
If it still doesn't crank try tapping on starter motor with a hammer then see if it crank's,if it does it need's a starter. :thumb:

It's the starter. Mine did that too, and I hammered the **** outta it and still nothing. Put a new one in and it's perfect.

And use the search function, there's been a million threads on this.

Good luck.
