it's fairly flexible and has a waxy fell when cleaned. I can't for the life of me remember if I should, or could, Plastic weld this or not.
Along with that piece the slide retainer which holds the backing, reinforcement, to the body has popped of ,in tacked surprisingly, as I recall can be welded, its a semi ridged, plastic.

My memory has faded since school in 1993.
One other thing I never liked the way they did the front bumpers on these SHO's they put all the ground effects all around the car nice swooped NASA-carish and then they made the front into a bullet. What the F*&^%$???
Oh well In my mind, twisted as it is, seems like an unfinished design.

I had the thought of merging it with a Honda Accord's front bumper cover I can't remember the year exactly, 2003 I think. I held one on the front of my Sho and it looked pretty good!
Getting to the point the front bumper is more rigged than the Honda, or it may be the way it's molded, do you know of a process to merge the to un-alike plastics. I can mold dense foam to reinforce the back and help retain the shape. I've done this kind of shaping before. I was thinking of using the insert like molding on the face of the bumper to hide the seam.
it's the silver painted area in the photo, although its a molded part of the bumper cover.

Plastic and a heat gun. But I think it would better to get new bumpers! It's going to take sometime, lining everything up and making sure it's not off.

Hay thank you.
I did end up with another bumper, its panted and installed.
I have made these repairs be for I just couldn't remember how to identify the plastics types to order the rods and or 'dura mix.
I found a couple of web sites which reminded me of the process's like I said it's been a few years.
here's one http://www.bodyshopbusiness.com/Article/4129/proper_plastic_repair_procedures.aspx
It's really not that hard. if you fallow the directions step by step don't cut corners
