I have a few questions. To start off with I have replaced almost everything so far. Dis Module cam and crank sensors. o2 sensors, Fuel pump and filters. Full tuneup and more that I can't remember right now. The problem I'm dealing with is I'm getting Spark knock or it sounds like my heads are pinging loudly. Sometimes right after getting gas I always use premium btw. I've had the car checked several times and I have pulled no codes whatsoever. Now is there a way to adjust the timing on these cars to prevent this? Or perhaps bump the idle speed? And I was wondering a lot of fuel nowadays contains alot of Ethanol more so then they did back in the late 80s when this car was designed. So do any of you suffer these symptoms? And if so what would you recommend to remedy this problem?

Try fuel from a different gas station.
Hopefully with less ethanol.
Or add octane boost with your next fill.
Drive and see if it eliminates the knock.

At what RPMs does it ping? Do you have an aftermarket MAF?

please list any mods to the car - chip, mafs, intake, etc.

when you pull codes do you get 11 repeated 4 times? if not, you are not pulling them correctly and you may have codes.

this could be a number of things, including bad mafs, tps, or just carbon flaking loose from the heads.

if you don't get anything else as far as codes, look on shotimes.com for the "de-carbon heads" procedure and try that.

Thanks for the info and the car is completely stock. Always replace parts with oem. And I could check the maf sensor and maybe the tps. And when the car is tested its done with a scanner. But I did run the car close to empty and got a full tank at a different gas station and the pinging was almost non existent.. So maybe it is the fuel I was just wondering if any of you suffer these symptoms due to the ethanol in the gas?
