word... I mean it doesn't look that great... but **** your making some decent power...

I wouldn't mind using that setup if I still had 400hp

what are you going to make your y pipe a lot harder to build for an extra 10 or 15hp.... yeah I'm sure 400hp won't stand a chance against 415hp through 1st and 2nd gear... they'll both probably spin as easily

nice to see another turbo sho comming along

done with the y-pipe
CIMG0566

it did only cost 20 bucks (plus heat wrap)to do it ourselves though, so you can't really beat that price or the satisfaction of doing it yourself.

and how did you do your turbo again?

ashley and johnathon :snicker:
Wow, so much for constructive criticism...

I'm also not a fan of that 90º... merge? collector? i'm not even sure what to call it...

Personally, when I eventually get around to my FI project, if I decide to turbocharge, I'll spend the extra money on proper unions and, more importantly (to me, at any rate) mandrel bent piping.

That said, best of luck with the build.

I appreciate the constructiveness of it, I don't expect everyone to be like "awesome", but i mean, if you look at other projects there are some 90 degree bends as well. I don't really believe that it is detrimental, however, yes it could gain maybe 5-10 hp just by taking that out, but sometimes to route it you have to fit what will fit. we don't have a mandrel bender, so we work with what we have, it has turned out well from what we have done in the past and I am not looking to put 500+ hp down. but thanks for the pointers.
