I'm glad to actually see you go through with this at your age, John.

Just remember your life will be inside of that beast you will be driving! :thumb:

Please post the parameters changed in the CCF file? Including, MAF curve, slope setting, timing advance table settings.

Also please post exactly how a SAFC works and the settings for this setup for those that are unfamiliar with this product?

Update

I drove the turbo SHO home last night. At XX pounds of boost it is surpisingly fast. Easing onto the throttle so you don't spin the wheels and then flooring it, you have to hold onto the steering wheel hard to keep the car straight. The slightest blip of the throttle and the car beside you quickly fades into your rearview mirror. Floor it in the middle of 3rd and you will quickly be doing 110-120.

Well thats all for now. We are going to dyno tune it later today and I'm going to try and get a video up for you.

haha...we'll have a video up tomorrow, we are going to dyno it tonight and i am going to finish the fine tuning. it has a good tune on it now, but i'd like it to be perfect since it is someone else's car. Also, for the guy who asked about the SAFC, it is an air flow converter that allows you to see specific RPM levels (800, 1200, 2000, etc.) all the way through the RPM range. then you can tune fuel up and down based on the RPMs. So lets say that there is too much fuel at idle, well then i will go in and lower the fuel just at 800rpm and maybe 1200. then it will idle and run smoothly. That is for low throttle though, you can also do high throttle with would let you use the same RPMs and adjust fuel accordingly using the EGTs or a Wideband 02. I can say "hey it is a little too lean at 5500rpms", (and then just add a bit of fuel there) that is the basic jist of it. The SAFC really helps with the daily driving and low throttle city driving, whereas I find the tweecer to be good for WOT and changing the mass air settings as well as the ignition timing. I will post a video tomorrow and post the dyno sheets with the A/F ratio as well. wish us the best :)

sounds like a blast...you need that Quaife bro; too bad you guys are not closer to Chitown, as I would offer some kind of trade on the Quaife for a bunch of work on my '89 !

Now your first thing should be bigger brakes. The day I first jumped in my SHO when I got the SC car running, I was in 3rd gear going 115 like holy crap! You dont realize how fast your going when your used to the car being so slow.

Hmmm what's that on the floor there? With a turbo SHO I would expect one to no longer need such magazines to moisten one's pants :p
