Tint guy came over this morning, tinted the car all the way around. I requested Ceramic tint, so we did 30% on the front, 14% on the rear and 70% on the windshield.

I have to ask,;

On your 2nd to last pic that shows the drivers seat, there appears to be 2 switches in the plastic trim around the seat in the front left corner of the seat base. What are those switches for? As mine doesn't have any switches in that area. All my switches are on the side of the seat.

Those seat switches are for the cars without massaging controls. They are the set 1 and set 2 seating arrangement buttons.

And as far as the tint, in Texas as long as the strip of film is above the AS-1 line on the glass, its legal.

Ceramic film will not mess with FM signals, RFID key, cell signals etc like Metallic Film tends to do in certain applications. Also, ceramic film will block 99.9% of UV rays, and reject heat much better than metallic or carbon film does.
