My door chime works all the time when you leave the headlights on, as it should as an alarm.

It however does not sound when starting the car as a seatbelt chime.

It also does not work when you have the drivers door open, key in ign.

Sometimes it randomly works with the drivers door open, key out of ign.

I checked the connection to the chime module and all the wiring looks good. I also checked the pin switch in the drivers door and confirmed correct dome light operation so im pretty sure its not a door switch.

What do you think is going on here guys ? This isnt a big deal just something odd i noticed.

dunno if its a sho thing or not but mine does the same thing, i figured its broken w/e im not messing with it lol. However, I think mine is because of my ignition because if i move my ignition a little bit it will start working, then move it another way sometimes its stops.

Mine does the same thing when you move the ignition back and forth. Must be a SHO thing. I thought the car was stolen too because the ignition is so loose and you can almost turn it to aux without the key, but I have seen on here that lots of others have the same problem.
