Took delivery of a Gen III ('96 Black & Tan), and now I can't find the link that mentioned a PHX area welder that can do the cams. Any help?

Can't help you there but you might try asking at some of the speed shops in town. Chucks Speed Shop, Lopers Performance or maybe Airpark Autotek. Any one that has built performance engines will know where the good welders are that are familiar with welding of cam and gear steels.

Good luck.
