I recently purchased an H-Brace for my 95. When I went to install it I found that the holes were not in the correct position. When I went to modify the brace, I frigged it up. I emailed & asked for a replacement at my cost, since I had tried to modify the brace to correct the issue. Carrie told me not to worry about the cost, and that they would ship it out to me ASAP.

That's service. Thanks Carrie.

If I remember correctly, Phantom is just Spoolit Perfomance renamed. If so, I'll say stay away. SPT screwed my on a supposed powdercoated intake. I think he used chrome spraypaint. Sound like with the wrong holes they are just as bad as ever.

I say this if this is indeed the old SPT. (I think it is.)

I totally hear you Greg, and I believe that it is Spoolit reincarnated as well. I was not expecting the service - in fact, I was expecting them to tell me that they wouldn't get me the parts in time, and I was then going to BEG Mark Nunnally for some of his. :D

Since they treated me right, I thought I'd pass it along. Did they ever make things right with you & your intake?

It is Spoolit, sort of.It is Bruce, and his partner who invested in the shop with him.I`ve been meaning to take a roadtrip down the for a while now,but haven`t made it yet.He hasn`t helped Greg, and doesn`t respond to my mails either, which is why i have to go down there. He has the fender off my stepfathers `68 Harley, and you can imagine that isn`t good.

"and I was then going to BEG Mark Nunnally for some of his."

:D

I wasn't in that for the long haul, just wanted some good ones for my fleet, and the guy who is helping me do the cage said he'd make 'em if it would pay for a new bender. So he got his stuff, I get a free cage (lots of man hrs though!) and braces for my fleet.

Do have a few leftover, couple folks emailed me about them, making up a few more this week, the last few will probably stay here on the shelf, and will install those on folks cars who come through here...

Anybody want a 8 pt cage? :D

Mark -
Talk to Jason Mansfield. He seems to be getting big into hitting the drag track, and may be interested.

I got the H-Brace in without a problem. Much easier. I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Mark, if you have extra, I'll be happy to look at taking a couple & leaving them on the shelf, especially if the price is right... :)

After doing this one, I'd say about $10,000 would be worth the time.

:D

You can get a decent set-up for $1500 plus materials at a good fab shop
