Performance Pack empirical data?

I was wondering if anyone had a link to road tests with empirical data from the 2010 SHO equipped with the performance pack versus the non-performance pack vehicle? I'm just curious as to what the gear ratio did for acceleration from 0-60, what the brakes did for stopping distance and any other data that may be available.

1-2 Tenths to 60 MPH.

The upgraded brakes just have a different pad over the non pp cars.

When road and track did the SHO vs Evo Comparison, I caught the fact that they said their test car had the performance pack, but the pictures clearly showed a 402B car with BLIS and Adaptive Cruise.

I emailed them and asked what was up with that, and asked if they had test numbers on both cars, PP and Non PP.

Heres the reply:

Hi Wchain –

We’ve been looking into this and find that you are 100% accurate. In fact, Ford advised us:



“In response to the question on equipping a SHO with Adaptive Cruise Control and the Performance Pack - Due to packaging, we weren't able to include both options together for 2010. However, we are looking at adjustments for the future to allow both options to be ordered simultaneously.”



What happened in our case is that we used one car for the road trip and another for the track test. Our bad. The road trip car did not have the Performance Package and therefore was able to have the cruise control. The 402 cruise control-equipped car was notably slower…but I’m not sure we have full testing numbers on it. Safe to say, if you want performance, go with the Performance Pack.
