If I would have known you were so close I might have just tried to get you to tune it. lol all of the reading I did and I didn't even realize you were in Colorado. I used a lot of your posts for help while I've been building this thing. I'm hoping for 400.

It's got id725's in it. The chip I have was tuned by who knows who for the sho shop 47.7's I got with the kit so the new injectors are a lot bigger. It runs like 9:1 and stalls out at idle right now.

As for the fuel pump and regulator yes and yes. It's built right. It's the standard adjustable regulator kit though not the high volume. I read the standard one would be enough for me right now.

The pulley I put on it is a 3.33 coated by Carbinite racing which I read on here they grab better than the reichard ultra grips did. I'm hoping to not have to many belt slip issues but that's the nature of the beast.

I just moved back early this year from an 8 year stint in Nebraska. Took about 4 months to find a house and I'm still settling in and didn't start getting back into tuning until more recently. If you change your mind, I am available to tune. I can have it running right quickly and a good fun map until you decide to want to dial it on a dyno.

ID725's should be enough for E85, especially at this altitude. Curious as to why you didn't get ID1000's as they're the same price and still have superb idle quality. I looked into the Carbinite years ago. I don't remember why, I never did it, but I didn't get any experience with it.

I have actually been mulling over how I want to boost my S2000 this last week and I decided on and EFR turbo. I was looking at a supercharger, but then I kept remembering all the things I didn't like about supercharging the SHO. Granted, it was still fun. That said, I picked up some ID1300's for the S2000 today, so I guess that project is official. :) Now my STi and S2000 will be using the same injectors, where I have previously been using STi injectors in the S2000 for E85. :p

Because so pretty. :)

Maybe that's why I didn't realize you were here. You may have still been in Nebraska while I was doing my research for it. I'm already kind of locked in with Adam though. I think they are going to be ready to tune it this week or next week. I wouldn't mind meeting up with you one day and talking SHO though.

I just chose the 725's just because I honestly didn't think I would need more and I didn't want to get the 1000's and only run them at 50%. Like I said I'm not really planning on putting e85 in it unless I happen to find a place real close to me that sells it. The 725's with pump gas will be more injector than I should ever need. I talked to josh and he said he was using the accels with 15+psi at 465 hp. Granted he's running 60psi base pressure but the 725 is quite a bit bigger than the accels are and I'm not planning on getting into that much boost for a long time. Also the biggest reason I even went with the ID's was for the driveability.

That sounds like a fun car too. How much power are you planning to get out of that project?

I know all about ID's... I've sold and tuned a lot of them (also the first to work out the fitment on the SHO). It just seems when you can get a bigger injector at the same price without sacrificing drivability, I always recommend the latter. Nothing wrong and running them at 50%... You get more control that way. Put it this way, I upgraded the injectors on my SHO twice, my STi twice, and now my S2000 twice. :)

Undecided on the S2000 power output. My buddies at 3R are always trying to make me go bigger, not matter what I tell them I want to do. They're a bad influence on me. :) Robert is trying to get me to run an EFR 7670 after I had started looking at the 7163. We both make sense. :)

I really don't frequent here much these days. I have more lately because of working on Zach's car, but for the most part, my interests have moved one. I do still have a soft spot for the Yamaha SHO's.

I know you were the first one to fit these to the sho. Your thread on them was the only reason I even ended up getting id's.

I chose the 725 because I knew you ran the 1000's planning to run e85 and would need more fuel than me. I thought that even it injector dynamics would have issues running at super low pw? I know they do it very well but I didn't think the 1000's were necessary for my power goals.

I don't build a lot of fuel injected stuff so this stuff was all new to me on this build. My forte is carbureted engines. So I've been learning a lot while building this car. Lol if I end up needing bigger injectors later on so be it. Live and learn. but I'm planning on running this car as is for a long time and the 725s will be perfect for what it is now. I may consider e85 at some point but it was not in my original plans for the car and that will come with a new engine with more add ons and at that point the 725s will probably just go into my other truck and I'll get the 1000's for this car. For now I'm just trying to get this thing boosted and make it look nice enough to show and have some fun with it while I work on other projects.
