I have a 2017 I use for work and it runs for 6+ hours a day stop and go with 10 minutes or so idle time at each stop. Once or twice a day at one of the stop it will smoke after the idle time at the drive off. I do over 20+ stops a day and some times it will go weeks between doing it. My thought is the PCV because of the very intermitted occurrence. Anybody ever run into this? Only has a 93 tune, plugs and 3 bar everything else is stock. 44K on the clock and I know it's oil but not dripping or eating it.

Thanks

I know you posted this a while ago, but in case you’re still having the issue I stumbled across a TSB that covers some 2017 MY for smoke after extended idle. Go remove the quick connect for the fresh air pcv line on the valve cover. If the adapter is black, Ford says to replace it with an updated green adapter (part#

I don’t have the smoking issue that I know of, but I also don’t ever idle for very long. I am swapping it in hopes it will take care of the oil/dirt accumulation on the other end of that line where it connects to the intake piping

Thanks for the info! I did change out the back PCV valve and it cured it 90% of the time from what it was. I have the black one from the factory still installed but bought the green one at the same time I picked up the back one just need to swap it in. The back was easy to change but the front looks a bit more like you need 3 hands. The front ones each are just a strait threw but the green one the hole is about half the size.
