For those of you who have installed these before. Will the stock 89 brake lines thread directly on to the calipers? They felt like they are a different thread pattern, and I did not want to strip the calipers as they are aluminum. Technically, I guess the question is a little moot. I should be asking if the Earls Hyperfirm S.S. braided brake lines will thread directly in as I have some on order from Jegs.

Next, what are these little guys?

They are plastic rings. What is their purpose/function? Thanks!

It seems you answered your own question... :p
Now, all kidding aside, where did they come from? How big are they?(you say little guys but can't tell how little from the pic.)

Centering Rings for the hub / brake rotor, I'd guess. My TD Wheels required them to be hub-centric.

As for the brake lines, from memory, I believe the PBR caliper uses a different brake line setup - I recall Kirk Doucette having to cut & re-flare the brake hardline with a non-metric threaded end.

Use the braided lines and the bolt that came with the brake upgrade. (I hope it did)

If it didnt come with one, Buy a banjo bolt for a mustang cobra.

So if my rims are lug-centric I should not be needing the rings, correct?

Sadly, the calipers did not come with the proper bolts. The kit was "preowned". Looks like it is time for another trip to the auto parts store.
