Quick question. I have 2" duals with no cats. I also have an ScTuner. I thought there was a thread that talked about how to get the car to pass emmissions with the tuner. Something about raising timing very high and such. If someone could let me know about this, I'd greatly appreciate it. I would like to pass emmissions as legally as possible rather than a more shady way.

Here in Cali you would not pass the visual test.

Not sure if they check for cats in your state, hopefully you saved your stock y-pipe and have some new oxygen sensors to install.

Yeah, my 02 sensors are brand new. But I don't have cats in the car. If the inspection guy DID check for cats, and wasn't too bright, I'll tell him my glasspacks are actually high-flow cats. That should throw him for a loop. I'm pretty sure I won't have a problem, though, because I'll use the same guy that was going to do it the "shady way". :thumb:

After reading on the Super High Output forum about emmissions testing, I've found that if you drop your spark advance down to 10 degrees, your emmissions output drops dramatically. So...I think I'll try that. Thanks for the help.
