My passenger side vent has broken. My freind got in and hit the directional thingy with his knee and now all the fins are facing different ways and arent connected to the directional thingy.

My question is:
How can i remove this vent assembly to repair/replace it? I tried pulling and took out the glovebox to look for acces but cant seem to figure it out. Any ideas are appreciated.

there are two parts to the vent. The inner piece with the adjustable slots, and the housing that allows you to open and close the vent.

You gotta remove the inner piece carefully with a dull screw driver. Once that is removed, there are four small tabs that you gently pry up and the vent should slide right out.
