Today the weather was very nice so when I got into my SHO after work I tried putting all the windows down. The front passenger side window won't budge. I tried the window button on the driver door and the passenger door and neither work.

What should I look for to see what needs to be fixed?

I have experience this same problem in two SHO's before. Remove your door panel and clean the connector of the window motor; also test the motor to make sure it works.
most likely the connectors are not making proper contact or dirt got into them.
Hope this help and good luck.

Look for a short or bad contact first at the master switch on the drivers door. All the power to the window motors goes through that switch first and then to the switch and/or motor in the other doors. It could be the pass. motor or something over there but power relays first from the other side. You could get a volt meter and work your way from either side to see if it's a power issue or a hardware issue.

My passenger side window is unpredictable and it all stems from the master switch or the wiring nearby. Probably bad power contact at the switch. I make sure the window stays up and haven't messed with until the higher temps are here to stay.

Hold the window switch and bang the door hard with your other hand. If the window starts moving, you've got a bad connection at the motor or a bad spot in the motor windings.

I tried the window today and it worked fine. No hesitation or jerkiness. I guess I'll just wait for now especially since I'll be parking the SHO in a few days for the next several months.

Thanks for the tips, I'll keep them in mind when I get around to looking into the problem.

Mines done that before. I haven't had a problem with it since. I was in the middle of....uhhh.... something when I noticed one night. I had other more pressing things to take care of before I looked at it. I went to play with it a little while later and it worked fine. Thought it was an oddball thing.

That happens to me every so often to. For no reason it won't go down, a couple hours later, it's fine.

Possibly some precipitation in the connector? Not sure what could be causing it.

My front drivers side and rear passenger side windows won't go down either. I grabbed a new switch for the junk yard, I just haven't put it in yet. Should I check the connection first?
