Passenger Door Lock Issue

Passenger door lock on my 13 SHO will not move. The door seems to be stuck in the unlocked position. It will not go up or down with the key fob or when i try using the button on the door panel. The lock portion that sticks out of the top of the door will not go up or down either if I try to manipulate it manually.

Any ideas?

Sounds like you need a new door latch. The door lock rod should move even if there was a fault to the door lock/unlock solenoid.

You would have to remove the door pannle to make sure nothing is binding preventing the latch from moving.

I took the door panel off and I believe its the actuator. The switch on the door unlocks all other doors except the one its attached to. The door lock pin that sticks out the top of the door wont lock, its stuck. Going to see about ordering a new actuator for it.

Update in case anyone ever has similar issue. Ended up being the door actuator. Comes as whole assembly that replaces latch as well. $116 from Ford and took me about an hour to put in.
