part # needed

Hey guys.I need a part number to the o rings that go under the valve cover bolts.8 per cover I need all 16 headbang The tool at the machine shop tossed mine out when he cleaned the valve covers.And the SHO luck strikes again.Thanks for the help guys!

advance auto lists them as fel-pro part number ES72180 ... this is not in the fel-pro catalog, and i have not actually seen them, so i can't confirm it, but if they are correct that would be one set per valve cover....

If that Fel-Pro number is in fact the bushings under the valve cover bolt heads, then you have made a great find. My understanding is that those bushings are available only with a new bolt - for about $21 each. Maybe that tool at the machine shop owes you at least the purchase of a set of used bolts to go along with the repair on the front bank valve cover shield. You may want to contact Adam Varney (ACV1081) on this list as he might have a used set available. You may also want to stay the heck away from that machine shop. What were they thinking?

$21! oh_my MAN.I didnt notice it untill I went to sit the covers on the motor.By then the shop was closed.Autozone was open but their a joke on the SHO stuff.Guess I'll have to have a heart to heart talk with him monday.I think I still have three of them that came out with the bolts.Anything else that I could use if it came to that?Does it act like a spacer or is it just a seal?If it just seal maybe I can use firewall gromets?(sp)Thanks for the help though guys.
