Does anyone know a site or have personal knowledge of what Gaskets are included in the MTX/ATX Overhaul Kit? Having some maintenance conducted shortly and don't want to double purchase items that may already be included in the kit. Thanks for any assistance!

You can look at the site below and click on the gasket section. The MTX and ATX overhaul and master gaskets sets have some differences. Are you doing the heads as well, if not you may not need the head gaskets and that would reduce your cost

Is that your kit in the pic? If so, you can put everything out and we can get a look at what is missing. Also, if you are doing head gaskets then those would be different in size between 3.0 & 3.2L

Unfortunately I am overseas at the moment and the kit is sitting back at home. Otherwise I would definitely be able to see what part numbers are included. Wish there was a site that gives you a breakdown of what’s included. I would like to think an “overhaul” kit that sold for 750 dollars would have almost every single gasket for the engine.

It very well might. Like zoom posted, you can look at the shonut website and click on the gaskets tab and it should give you a list of gaskets and what's in what kit. Do you have the kit part number? I see the Ford box.

I see the obvious head, intake, and valve cover gaskets. So cam seals, throttle body, intake solenoid, front main seal, and a few others would be the front/top. The question is whether the bottom/rear stuff is there like rear main seal, rear carrier gasket, oil pan, etc.

Hi Brandon, Nick here.....

SHO Nut doesn't list the gaskets in your overhaul kit, but it DOES list the gaskets in the upper gasket set which will be part of your set. Doesn't list the ones in the lower gasket set, although SHO Source has a pic of that.

What I can ascertain from the SHO Nut upper gasket list is that it includes the thermostat gasket and the fuel injector seals. No idea what the upper cam cover gasket (3.0L set only) is at it also lists the valve cover seals. I'll amend your estimate accordingly.

What's that squiggly gasket inside the valve cover gaskets? And where do you get this awesomness?

Timing belt cover gasket between the lower and middle covers. You know the answer to the second question, Beau, having serviced over 250 SHOs working full time on them for the last 18 years.
