Didn't know where exactly to post this, but this should be a good start. Anyway, I plan on painting (not powdercoating) my intake. How should I do this? I figured, since it's off the car and in pieces anyway, now'sa good time for it. Is there any prepping that I'd have to do for this? It is an enamel paint that is gas/oil safe and good up to 1200 degrees (probably a little overkill, but for 50 cents more, why not?). I want to paint the entire intake and then the valve covers as well (those will be coming out as well so I can replace the plug well seals). Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
