painted dash

well i ended paining up my dash tell me what ya think

I could see it working well... but I dunno. Its kinda bold. Maybe a bit too bold? I am sure i could get used to it though. Props for something new tho!

As the paint job looks good, white+tan is really not me.... now if it was a full black interior, then it may be something i would drink....

either way... heres to trying something different.

my dash trims are painted blue. but i didnt do the vent area or the airbag. and for the airbag i was only goin to paint the middle line of it. looks cool tho.

Looks good man, I like it! You need to get some white face guages in there though. That would finish it off I think.

very clean and well done. it doesnt look bad per se, but the layout and seperation between the white and the tan looks kinda quirky. I agree that white face gauges would make it better.

to my own surprise i kinda like it, but i have to put my vote in for the white face gauges too. Also, have you considered to also paint the panel in the center console around the radio and what-not? I think that would look better too.

i think it'd be better if the white from the pass. side extended in that thin strip above the dash. im at work so dont have photoshop, but if it extended to the left, instead of just ending, it would tie it together better

THANKS im saving up to get the white face gauges and the triple piller too.. but im needing some new wheel berings in the front and my struts are going on me too

The bezel is OK, but the steering wheel and air bag area is bleah... Also, repainting the airbag plastic is a no no according to the Helms manual.

I've been considering how an all-white interior mod might look. Look at these screen captures of the car from the movie Equilibrium:

An all white dash might have heinous reflections when driving into the sun though...

use a flat white for the dash? that would keep the reflection from being too bad

edit- you put 210k miles on a tempo? that there is some dedication

i do get some crapy reflection issues with the sun a flat white would have been the best
