Just wanted to share my 2012 with painted calipers, SHO center caps, & SHO front emblem. I went with red calipers with SHO emblems only on the front. I decided on not tinting my tails. I had tinted tails on my SRT Jeep and was pulled over many times. Anyway, I put a silver metallic SHO emblem on the front bumper that closely matches the body. All emblems were custom made by a very nice eBay seller. The SHO center caps were already available from eBay as well. Opinions are greatly appreciated!

Very Nice, the wheels should have come that way. Is the SHO emblem on the front bumber a raised emblem, like gel type?

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

The front SHO decal is not raised. One thing to note, the lower black/dark gray part of the car is very porous. The decal had a hard time sticking. I cleaned the area with IPA before applying it, so I'm hoping it stays put. I don't know how it will do in rain or after several washes.

Nice job. Can you give us some details on what paint you used etc. on the calipers? Are the caliper emblems vinyl decals? Might tackle this as a winter break project....

Got5onIt, I see in the pic's that you have no lic plate holes. I hate a front lic plate and when I took off the bracket it left two holes. Did ya fill them? if so how. Thanks.

I used red G2 caliper paint kit. The decals are outdoor rated vinyl. I put the car on stands and removed all four wheels. Removed all rotors, brake pads, and metal guide thingies. Hit each caliper up with some light sand paper then sprayed with the included brake cleaner. Put 2.5 coats on each caliper and let the car sit overnight.

Reinstalled everything the next morning. Before putting the wheels on, I put on the white SHO decals on the front calipers and then sprayed them with a light coat of High Temperature Clear Coat.

I instructed the dealer to leave off the front bracket. However, I did have to remove the bracket on another one of my vehicles in the past. I filled the hole with a plastic plug from Home Depot. I just measured the hole and bought the appropriate size plug. Painted the head of the plug and popped it in. The plugs are less than a dollar a piece if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the overview.

No problem. I'm more than happy to help if any more questions arise.

Now all I want to do is replace the front & rear Ford badges with black Ford badges. I haven't figured out how to tackle that yet as it looks like Ford went away from the 2 piece badge. No longer able to separate the badge in two pieces & repaint it.
