when i painted my intake and vavle covers this is what i used
-scotch bright pad (kinda like a brillow pad)
-Fillable automotive primer (that that holds heat)
- any automotive paint 500degrees and up.
just tape off where the gaskets go (cause i learned the hard way its a pain in the ass to get that paint off haha.
i sprayed for coats of primer on. to make sure the paint would stick no problem..
Just start spraying very light coats at first, then you can spray on a little more every time after that.
then i did 4 coats of paint on everything else as well
i used Duplicolor 1200Degree paint, I have had mine done for a couple months now it still looks good, just keep up on the cleaning. and it should last a good bit.
